PCAP Touch panels
The Projective Capacitive (PCAP ) touch panel consists of two spaced layers of glass or film, which are coated with conductors such as Indium Tin Oxide (ITO). The Human body acts an electrical charge conductor so that when a finger touches the capacitive surface, it changes the local electrostatic field. The system continuously monitors the movement of each tiny capacitor to find out the exact area where the finger had touched the screen. PCAP touch panels can handle up to 10 touches simultaneously.
